JROTC National Championships - Mar 2022
Camp Perry, OH
SMA Rifle Team took 2nd place in the Nation! The team also broke the all time record for ARMY JROTC Precision Rifle Three Position Air Team Score !
After finals, Gabby Ayers took 2nd place in the Nation! Kendall Goebel took 3rd place in the Nation!
On Day 2, Evans scored a personal record of 578 and tied personal record for kneeling. Delzer also scored a personal record of 590 with a 2 day score of 1162.
After Day 2 match, Kendall Goebel (2nd overall) and Gabby Ayers (4th overall) made finals and will join the shootoff held at 3pm today.
After Day 1, two SMA Individuals are in the top 8. Kendall Goebel is at the top of the leaderboard with her 595-46 and sophomore Gabby Ayers is #8 with her 586-41. Congratulations and now on to day 2.

It’s official, 4 more championships this week. SMA Rifle brought home the American Legion Junior Sport Shooting State Championship in both Precision and Sporter. Sporter team: Emrie Fast-Clarke, Ethan Hylwa, Jagrieliz Irizarry and Chris Strahs. Precision team: Kendall Goebel, Dan Delzer, Gabby Ayers and Isabella Evans. We also had the Individual State Sporter Champion in first year team member Emrie Fast-Clarke and Precision State Champion Senior Kendall Goebel. We had 3 earn spots in the next round: seniors Kendall Goebel and Dan Delzer and sophomore Gabby Ayers.

The SMA Rifle Team - 1st Place Precision Team at the 2022 Service Championship Regionals at the CMP South. Kendall Goebel placed first as individual and Gabby Ayers placed second as individual.
